Summary
BARD isn’t a school. It’s a fortress. A breeding ground for assassins, agents, and saboteurs trained to keep what’s left of the world spinning—or at least from burning completely. There’s no law, no currency, no gods—just orders, loyalty, and the scars you earn following both.
When fifteen-year-old Eddie Larsen is recruited into BARD, he’s not ready for what waits behind its reinforced walls: six teenagers raised as weapons, each mentored by one of BARD’s ruthless department heads. They’re not friends, not really. But they’re all they’ve got.
Eddie’s just trying to survive the initiation, learn the rules, and maybe, one day, feel like he belongs. But when alliances fracture and loyalties shift, he realizes that inside BARD, having each other’s backs often means stabbing someone in the front first.
Because here, no one’s the hero. Not even the ones trying to be.

“Jesus, man.” Carl says, stepping towards him, “All I’ve ever tried to be is your friend. I want to help you. Let me help you.”
Ron’s eyes, impossibly, narrow even further, and he scoffs, throwing his arms up in frustration. “I don’t want your help! I don’t want anything to do with you!”
“Why?” He says, exasperated.
“Because all you and your group do is ruin things, Carl! Everything was fine before you got here! And you just…” Ron trails off, eyes flicking all over Carl’s face, and for some reason, Carl holds his breath, thinking breathing might scare his gaze away. “I shouldn’t,” he speaks again, finally, and Carl breathes. “I shouldn’t want anything to do with you.”

Summary
Wolf and Snake impulsively become friends with benefits, becoming closer than they've ever been. However, they both learn that this arrangement is the key to a lot of repressed emotions they both have, ones that go beyond mere lust.
Are either of them prepared to deal with that?
Hell no. lol.
But their relationship has survived worse, so they can survive this easy!...right???
