    Summary

    Caesar had looked at Joseph like he was the sun.
    Irritated, eyes squinted and partially averted.
    When he was bright and excessive, Caesar complained about it, and yet, when he was down, he’d be annoyed by the lack of his light. He couldn’t imagine the world without him anymore, but at the same time, he’d wish and dream of the moment he’d finally be done with him.
    And yet somehow, it’s not Joseph who is taken away far too soon.

    In the end, it was only when he was leaving Joseph, watching him fade away beneath the horizon, that he realized how breathtaking a blazing sunset could be.

    And oh, how he ached to know the beauty of his sunrise.

    {Or, Caesar finds his last train home is taking him the wrong direction, and after all he’d endured in life, he’d think that by now, the hard part would be over. Turns out, falling in love while you’re dead is still completely possible, and yes, even in heaven, it hurts just as bad. Possibly even worse.}
