Summary
Your pulse thrums under your skin as you look at him. His lips are slick with spit and bruised from your teeth. Your lips sting from him, you’re surprised he hasn’t drawn blood yet. ‘Yet’ might be the key word here if the way he’s looking at you means anything.
His pupils are blown wide, a look in his usually blank eyes so disconcerting that a flash of nervousness bursts under your skin before it tangles with the heat low in your stomach. Lohen looks excited in the breathless way you’ve seen him one other time after he had come back to the city with blood on his sleeves. He had shrugged your questions off then.
Lohen has that same look in his eyes now, his smile a little too wide to be comforting. This is why you don’t like him. He’s weird. You don’t think you’ve ever wanted anyone more.

His gaze falls to your lips, before he wrestles the spear out of your hands with a practiced speed—and crashes his lips to your own.
"Mm—" You try to speak out, but he doesn't let you. His tongue is already deep into your mouth, tasting each and every single nook and cranny as he steals the air from your lungs. Lohen always kissed like a man desperate to steal your every breath—it was agonizing, having him cage you like this with his bloodied arms around your waist, practically engulfing you in his embrace. You moan into his mouth, trying to resist his strength, but deep down, you knew you wanted it as much as he did.
He breaks off from the kiss briefly, face flushed, just like yours. "I get to fuck you when you're done helping me. Deal?"
or, Lohen is a little shit, and you are his worst enabler. Even if you like to pretend otherwise.

"You feel tense," he says lowly.
"...A bit." You force yourself to sound casual despite the shiver threatening to creep up your spine. You slowly lower the crossbow. "I'm guessing you are too? If you're here, I mean."
He hums. "I suppose," he says lightly. (He had looked a bit worn down when he looked at you earlier.) His hand stops moving and you feel him lean closer, breath hot on your ear and voice low. "Need to release some of that tension? Blow off some steam, maybe?"
Lohen catches the way your breath hitches, and the way you go rigid under his light touch.
"You make for great prey, as we just discussed."
