Another thump, a fist hitting the door.
He can hear a harsh breath from out there, then it goes quiet for a few seconds before a gentle voice speaks.
“Minho open the door, please.”
His eyes sting, as he listens to the softness in that voice.
It was fake, it was desperate, it was a lie, trying to coax him out, like he was a scared animal.
He felt like one.

He whispers urgently, to the kid that merely goes limp, dramatically flopping down into a pile when Hyunjin lets go of him.
Fuck adult Minho and his stubborn theatrics.
“Don't make me carry you, come on.”
He's whisper yelling, arguing with a child who's just huffing and puffing, rolling a bit around every now and then.
Or, Minho somehow turns into a child after their live and now Hyunjin has to sneak him through the company without anyone seeing

They all fall silent, the warm sun mixed with the soft breeze, warming the dropping atmosphere before it even gets to grow cold, leaves rustling in the few trees and kids laughing and screaming at the nearby playground.
“Hannie.” Minho calls, leaning back on his hands “Good deed of the day?” He asks, the squirrel immediately smiling his gummy smile.
