Summary
Will Byers expected the senior fall formal to hurt.
He did not expect Troy Walsh and his friends to drench him in contaminated demo blood - or to wake something inside him that had always been waiting.
Now Will can move objects without touching them, taste violence in a guilty heartbeat, and grow teeth sharp enough to make his tormentors bleed. The hunger wants revenge. Mike Wheeler wants Will alive, free, and entirely his own - even if that means helping him bury the bodies.
But what if three deaths are not enough to quiet what Will has become? What if loving him may require Mike to learn the difference between standing beside a monster and reminding him that he still has a choice. -

Summary
At the far edge of the cemetery, beneath a maple shedding red leaves like old blood, the earth above William Byers shifted.
Six feet below, inside a coffin lined in white satin, Will Byers lay with his hands folded over his stomach.
No worms.
No rot.
No sunken cheeks or ruined skin.
The dress Joyce had chosen with shaking hands, the dress he had asked for before the end, covered him in layers of white. Long sleeves. A fitted bodice. A skirt that pooled around his legs like fog. Gothic and delicate, almost bridal, except no one had come to a church for him.
Only a hole in the ground.
Only rain.
Only Mike Wheeler carrying him until his knees gave out.
Will’s chest rose.
The sound did not belong in a coffin.OR- what happens when Will Byers powers resurrect him on the anniversary of being killed by vecna? what happens when the first person he goes to after waking is Mike Wheeler?

Summary
“It doesn’t matter if it takes a hundred more crawls,” Mike says, planting his hands against the table. “A thousand! We don’t stop until we’re goddamn sure that wrinkled, rotting, noseless bastard is dead and gone and never coming back.”
Will’s smiling, now, looking reassured. And Mike’s saying it for El’s sake, but also Will’s. Max’s. Eddie’s, too. Everyone who’s been hurt by this monster, who won’t be able to sleep at night with even the slimmest chance that he might still be out there.
He has to do something. And until there’s a better plan, or more information to go off of, this is the only option.
He puts his hand out above the table. “Everyone in?”
Lucas, looking determined, slaps his palm on top of Mike’s. Then Will. Then, when there’s only one of them left, they turn to look at Dustin.
Dustin’s mouth twitches to the side. His torn Hellfire shirt ripples in the late-autumn breeze. “I want to see Vecna’s heart on a platter,” he says. His voice is low, almost scarily detached. Like he has nothing left to lose. “Just wish I could do it myself.”
