Summary
Even though most of the other Protocol members said otherwise, Neon knew she herself wouldn’t be merciful if someone tried to hurt her family. In the end, was she so superior as to judge Fade? What right did she have to limit the rage of someone who had been fighting for so long to rescue someone so important?

Summary
In the end, as much as it hurt Fade to admit it, she was only there, in Neon’s room, with the Filipino agent’s arm around her waist by chance. A chance Fade still didn’t know if she felt grateful or unhappy had happened.

Summary
Neon followed every movement of Fade through the mirror. Her hands slid down to her waist. The dark henna from the night before contrasted beautifully with the initiator’s pale skin and the intense yellow of her dress. It was a truly stunning combination.
Fade squeezed her, drawing a small sigh from Neon. The low laugh in her ear made Neon’s head spin a little, but everything blurred when she felt Fade’s teeth graze the lobe of her ear before biting it.

Summary
It was always like the first time. Always leaving her disoriented, too sensitive, and too weak.
Leaving behind only bitter grief that filled her with guilt and made her feel like she hadn’t cherished the good moments when she should have. Like she hadn’t said the right words while he could still hear them.

Summary
"Sorry for the shock… again.”
Fade gave her a small smile and Neon felt her cheeks heat up. She had seen Fade smile before, but having that smile directed at her… it was something Neon couldn’t explain why it made her heart skip a beat.
“It’s nothing, kıvılcım. If you really want me to care about one of your shocks, you’ll need to do more than that.”
