Summary
Carla wakes from a coma and realises that her relationship with Lisa was nothing more than a dream. Despite that revelation, her feelings for Lisa have only grown stronger. Things take a stranger turn when moments from her dream begin unfolding in real life — as if her subconscious had been warning her all along. Terrified that it’s all leading to heartbreak, Carla puts her guard back up and begins to distance herself from the Swains.
Lisa spent ten sleepless nights at Carla’s bedside, willing her to open her eyes. In those long, solitary hours, fear stripped away her denial — she was in love with Carla Connor, and she was done running from it. But now, as Carla begins to heal, she’s pulling away for reasons Lisa can’t comprehend – and Lisa is determined not to let her soulmate slip away again.
