Summary
Crowley and Aziraphale have settled into a nice life, splitting themselves between the bookshop and their new cottage in the South Downs. They enjoy freedom from worry about interference from Heaven and Hell. After thousands and thousands of years of mutual pining, these two idiots have finally made out and learned how to give themselves absolute pleasure. They spend a lot of time connecting carnally. Crowley takes a new effort out for a spin and within a few weeks, they realize that ALL of Crowley's female-presenting reproductive anatomy is actually in place, leading to two positive lines on a pregnancy test. Lots of sex, lots of domestic fluff, and a bunch of pregnancy shenanigans ensue.

Thing is, Lucius could talk the talk. Of course he could. He could talk his way out of a paper bag that happened to be simultaneously on fire and drifting in the middle of the ocean. That wasn’t the problem. But faced with actually going through with it, actually enacting the bullshit, the waffle, the lust-ladened threats and the flirtatious comments… well, that was different.
And now Izzy was stood in front of him in his open doorway, bottle of wine in hand, and a soft (if slightly smug) smile on his face, and Lucius wanted to fold in that instant. Run. Run away saying ‘actually I didn’t mean it but thanks so much anyway’ and shut himself in his bedroom and never come out again. Except for when he had to see Izzy at work the next day. Well, that was going to be fucking awkward either way! Shit, he really hadn’t thought this through…
“Can I come in?”
Izzy finds out Lucius has never really bottomed. He decides he's going to rectify that for him. But as once becomes twice, three times, and more, feeling start to creep in. And, to begin with, neither of them know where they stand with that...

“Why did you come here?” Aziraphale interrupts. “Why do you keep doing this?” All the saving, he means, all the chasing after Aziraphale he does. It can’t only be that he’s not keen to endure a replacement. That can’t be it, not anymore. He’s going to get himself in trouble, and then it’ll be Aziraphale’s fault.
Crowley’s mouth shuts with a click. He shifts uncomfortably in his seat, reaches for the handle of the fork and taps his fingertips against it before setting his hands in his lap.
When he speaks, it’s very soft. “Don’t you know?” he asks.
Aziraphale, unnaccustomed to his heart refusing to translate why it throbs with such haste, shakes his head.

“What?” David said, raising his head so quickly that he almost twisted his neck.
“No need to get yourself all worked up, baby, it’s just that it looks like he’s all over you in these interviews,” Georgia replied, half-laughing.
“I... I’– m not getting worked up about it, it’s just..." said David in a slightly higher pitch than usual “do you think he’s flirting with me?”
