“Oh, you wanna bet?” Saparata smirks, tilting his head in that specific way he always does, something that annoys Flux to the core.
“No. That’s childish.” He scoffs, already turning to get to his class. He has better things to do than arguing with Saparata Theria over their midterm scores. Besides, now he has even more motivation to go to classes, he can’t let Saparata take his number one spot again.
“Coward.”

Summary
To be frank, Flame had gotten too used to the constant praise and admiration everywhere he went. So imagine his surprise when a new transferee barges into his life and has the guts to speak up against his cockiness. You'd get whiplash from it too, no?
Naturally, Lomedy's dismissive attitude drew him in. It made Flame want to find out more; why doesn't Lomedy care about his looks, his status, or even his money?
Or: What happens when you show a man with an ego through the roof to a scholar, who judges not based on looks or status, but how someone acts around others? Will their differences help or break their relationship?
Or, or: Lomedy plays hard to get, but Flame's just a desperate puppy for him.

It’s really not every day you sit in an overflowing bathtub threaded with your own blood. In fact, it’s, more often than not, a once-in-a-lifetime thing — you slit your wrists and then you’re in there for, what, five minutes? And then you’re dead. Gone. Banished, betrothed to whatever afterlife there is out there.
For whatever reason, however, it’s been an hour, and Flux is still sitting in a bath of his own blood.
