Vincent stiffens as Rody’s fingers brush across his temple and gently tuck a strand of hair behind his ear, leaving a prickling trail of excitement along his skin.
“Mon cœur… qui bat…” Rody finishes softly, his hand gently caressing Vincent’s cheek. Vincent isn't used to such physical contact, but he finds himself melting into the touch. His eyelids flutter closed, savoring the slight roughness of Rody’s thumb as it brushes against his lower lip.
He wants more.
As if he could read his mind, Rody faintly whispers, “...kiss me...”

Tanned hands sprinkled with darker freckles, tracing a slow path up the white and golden sleeves of his suit, as if mapping the texture and committing it to memory, as they traveled from his pale blue palms to his covered elbows, and further still to his shoulders. Tracing the shape of the wide popped collar of his uniform, before pausing at the cool feeling of the golden metal that lined the lozenge-shaped pin holding the blue gleaming Soul Jam.

And from there, those freckled hands, so very very warm, travelled up, fingertips gently brushing his blue chin and tracing the shape of his jaw and neck, while the thumbs brushed the lower half of his cheeks, memorizing the feel of his face and skin, before they moved to cradle the sides of his face, holding onto him so tenderly, so lovingly, that he couldn't help but bring his own hands up to rest over them in return, holding them lightly to his face as he leaned his head to the left, pressing his cheek further into the warm palm, and just letting himself enjoy the contact, his pale blue face now flushed a darker blue, even as he allowed himself the luxury of a brief nuzzle, unable to resist the temptation when it was being so willingly offered by his counterpart.Series

Summary
The night before they depart, Pure Vanilla stumbles upon a breakthrough. A book, burned and scarred from the ages, but detailing the proper steps to starting a relationship. Dating back to Shadow Milk’s time, perhaps this will let him break past the other’s shell and finally make have the other take him up on his offer of friendship! All he has to do is follow these steps, and they should be friends in no time, as the book says!
Shadow Milk, for his part, is thrown by his counterpart suddenly flipping the script and trying to woo him.
