Ivan knew three things.
The sky has limits.
His eyes are black.
And Till is his anchor.He lived by these three facts, focusing on them when the world felt numb and he couldn’t tell the difference between the façade he used in public and the face he had out of it.
He lived and died with these facts. Knew them to be true as he felt the killing bullet pierce his lung and smiled at Till knowing that at least for now, he was safe.
But none of that is true anymore.
The sky is endless.
His eyes are blue.

Kibutsuji Muzan was slain, ending the war against demons.
For someone whose life was dedicated to annihilating demons with a solemn wish to die for this cause, such peace could be quite unsettling.
All that was left to do was to wait.
Wait alone for the end.However, when an aloof, awkward man met his former gruff and angry colleague, they figured they could wait together.

Summary
Giyuu's anger wasn't enough to do anything with, not anymore. He'd burned himself out at such a young age. All that was left was ash.
Genya seemed like him. His anger was fear, a shield he used. It wasn't his core like his brother and the other hashira who had tried to help him.
Maybe, just maybe, that would be enough for Giyuu to make a difference where they hadn't.
Or: Genya becomes Giyuu's tsugoku. Sanemi does not approve.
