Don't get him wrong. Kojiro certainly loves the Kaoru that everyone else gets to see---the brilliant artist, all elegant poise and cool intellectualism.
But he loves this Kaoru, the sweaty, mindless, beautiful Kaoru splayed out nicely for Kojiro's eyes only, just as much. Maybe even a little more.
