Summary
Alpha Hwang In-ho swooped in at the last second to protect Omega Seong Gi-hun and the baby that night. He had refused to allow Gi-hun back into the dormitory, and offered another solution. The baby and Gi-hun could be exempted from the final round, as long as the omega agreed to it for the baby. As such, he - the Frontman - applied for mate ownership over Gi-hun and the baby, as Gi-hun is an omega and legally has no parental rights. In-ho reassured his legal mate that it was paperwork, nothing else.
However, the VIPs are unhappy with the finale, and demote In-ho to a server for the time they remain on the island, another few weeks. The Officer, another proud Alpha, goes up in rank and earns the Frontman title.
In-ho, while discontent, had peace knowing that his mate would be safe. That they could both leave the past behind them, and join together on the mainland.
However, the title of Frontman no longer belonged to Hwang In-ho, but to the newly promoted Frontman - Park Hee-soon.
