Izuku can’t remember the last time he talked to his mom. He doesn’t see her very often either, with their conflicting schedules. She switched her day shift to a night shift around two years ago. Izuku likes to think that she did so because she trusts him to be by himself in the house and that they need the extra money, but he knows deep down that his mom just wants to avoid him. It’s been that way since the day he developed his quirk.
(Izuku is neglected and abandoned by his mother because of his ‘villanous’ quirk so he becomes a homeless vigilante until Eraserhead finds him and dadzawa happens)

All men are not created equal. This is a sad truth the world learned some time ago.
Izuku and his mom learned this fact when Izuku turned 4. Katsuki and his parents learned when he was 10. Class 1A learned at 18. And Aizawa did something about it at 32.
Or: When Izuku and his mom are taken away due to Izuku's quirklessness, how do they survive? How does Katsuki? And how does all of this change what it means to be a hero?
