His handsome face is already set in a scowl and he honestly looks kind of pissed off, but then his gaze finds where Dennis’ hand lingers against his abused throat and it gets so much worse.
“What the fuck?” Jack hisses and stalks over.
OR;
Dennis gets a little bit strangled during Street and is positive he's ruining date night no matter what Trinity says. Jack and Robby reacts accordingly.

Robby pokes his head out and sees Kim helping a short woman with medium brown hair into a wheelchair. Or, try to anyway.
"Let me walk while I still can." She insisted. Langdon takes her hand as they walk past central when she stops so suddenly it nearly makes the much taller man trip.
"Ma'am? Ma'am are you okay?" Langdon asked.
"Dennis?" Huh?
Dennis has been no contact with his entire family for nearly a decade. How will he react to the aunt who helped raise him suddenly showing up in his ER, nearly 500 miles from her own home.

"Whitaker?" The words taste sour in his mouth; he's barely registering Abbot and Park as they rush around Dennis.
Before he can think better of it, his body betrays him, and he's following them inside. People are darting to the side to make way for Dennis like he's royalty. In all honesty, he looks horrible. Hair matted with blood, chest working overtime as the air pressed on his face does absolutely nothing to fill his lungs, bruises running down his face, fading into the multiple lacerations on his face and body. Robby only had a few seconds to look at him; this was just the surface injuries that were visible to the human eye.
What if it was worse internally?

The words tumbled out of Denis’s mouth before he could stop them and he turned beet red, stammering wildly as if that would somehow undo his mistake.
A smile ghosted at the corner of Dr. Robby’s lips and he looked at Dennis like the cat that got the cream. “You say that so nicely Whitaker, have you had a lot of practice?”
His hand was heavy on the back of Dennis’s neck, a familiar gesture that now seemed especially charged. Staff and patients scurried around them, seemingly unaware of Dennis’s plight as Dr. Robby pulled him in even closer.
“Say it again.”
When Whitaker accidentally calls Dr. Robby Sir, he finds himself on the receiving end of Abbot and Robby, who delight in taking him apart piece by piece.
