Summary
“It’s a souvenir!” Azem chirped.
“You know, a gift to forever remind you that I travelled to the serrated peaks of the ground glass desert and had some fleeting thought for you while I was there!”-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
What kind of friend would Azem be to Emet-Selch if they did not bring a present after they returned from each long sojourn out into the world?

Summary
In a way, it's soothing to find these little differences. There are too many haunting similarities already, too many moments where this man feels like just the one she used to know. The one she loves. But unlike his future self, this Emet-Selch doesn't know her. And he had been right earlier when claiming she doesn't know him either.

Summary
So what if you desperately wish for someone to see past the veneer of heroism you coat yourself with to match the pedestal people force you on time and time again? Surely that someone can not be him. Should not be him at any cost. The danger inherent in giving so much of you to the enemy, of entrusting truths to him even your closest confidants don't know, can invite only doom.
Then again, the line of people actually seeing you as clearly as he does is woefully empty.

Summary
A series of exchanges between Azem and Emet-Selch before the Final Days of Amaurot.
Sometimes you and your work colleague are stubborn academics who never see eye to eye, except when the end of the world is coming and you realize just how much you mean to each other. Explores a few other relationships with Convocation members along the way, as well as love versus duty, the nature of responsibility when you're an immortal caretaker of the entire world, and maybe you and your coworkers are not very nice people actually.
*COMPLETE as of 1/23/22. As I started this during Shadowbringers, the focus shifts a bit from Hades/Azem to the OT3 due to my interpretation of events in Endwalker. Inside is an extended flashback sequence, so I recommend reading in order. Avoid Chapter 7 for hard 6.0 and 6.01 spoilers.
