Adora moved up the bed just a bit, taking a breath and thanking her curious wife for giving her a bit of room. “When I took a look at this, I was able to figure out it’s some kind of First One’s tech. It’s got the look for it. So I went to Entrapta after you and I talked in the bathroom this morning.”
Catra turned her head up, her expression an expert craft of playful indignance as she sat her cheek on her palm.
“Are you telling me my wife grew a dick, and I wasn’t the first to know?

Or, Adora wakes up to a rather surprising change in her body thanks to her First One's heritage, and spends the morning trying to figure it out, avoid looking too strange for it and not sending the wrong message after an important conversation her and her wife shared the night prior.

“Huh?” Adora felt her cheeks flushing red as she tore her gaze away from the girl and turned to whoever had spoken. “Sorry, were you talking to me?”
The gorgeous girl strutted past them without a single glance, like she was totally oblivious to how much the world seemed to want her. The girl who had spoken to her followed the other girls down the hallway with her gaze. An intense wave of dislike seemed to emanate from her.
“Satan,” the girl repeated, nodding down the hallway once the other girls turned the corner, “Catrina Driluth, but everyone just calls her Catra. Head cheerleader. All the girls want to be her, all the guys want to fuck her, and she’s completely fucking evil from head to toe.”'
Or, Catra is the bitchy head cheerleader and Adora is the socially awkward new girl. What could go wrong?

She couldn't even say it was a one-time thing anymore- it wasn't.
Every time Catra texted or called, she was there- even if it killed her a little bit to do so.
Her need to please, to make her happy, to make her not forget about just what she can do to her body.
It was her salvation, her absolute misery.
Adora fought, but try as she might, she'd bend her knee to Catra, even against her best wishes.
But, something had to give and Adora found herself waning further and further. Those dreaded feelings snuck up behind her and made her dynamic with Catra all the more... volatile. With her friends encouraging her, Adora now had the support she needed, all she had to do was quit on her own merits.
If only she weren't so goddamn sexy.

“What the fuck.” Adora’s voice shook.
Catra stopped rewinding, and tentatively hit play again. They watched it forwards this time. A massive wolf smashed through the fence, sending shattered painted shards everywhere. It clearly howled in pain. Its golden fur was painted red around its maw and down its front and, now, around its leg. It slumped forwards into the mud. It lay there for a while.
Then it shuddered.
It started shaking, violently.
Its limbs snapped about in horrible ways. Fur receding into skin.
Its size shrinking.
Then it was Adora. Lying face down in the mud. Fencing stuck through her leg. Her arm bent at a horrible angle.
Adora doesn't remember anything. She's woken up with new senses, new strength, new hunger, and new... form. She's lying in the mud of Catra's backyard knowing it's the only safe place in the world.

"Let me tell you what I think," Adora says, leaning her head forward so she was nearly touching Catra's to her own, "I think you like this little game of ours. You like my attention on you, you don't even care that practically everyone, including your friends, have been staring at us since you took my hand." It's a shot in the dark but Adora is trying to get a read on where Catra actually is, because this feels... intense, in a way Adora hasn't experienced before, and it doesn't fully feel like it's because they're so-called 'enemies'.
"A game? You think this is a game?" Catra raises her eyebrows at Adora's words. "I'm here to keep an eye on you, and that's it. Truly you need to get over yourself and bring that big ego of yours down a notch. It's pretty damn close to getting as big as your forehead." She bites back, a smirk on her lips.
