Summary
Trapped, bleeding, and about two seconds away from collapsing, I have to drag myself forward to save Cardan — because apparently letting him figure things out on his own is too much fun. Bound, panicking, and generally losing it, he clings to me like I’m a lifeline he didn’t deserve — but hey, I’m not complaining… much.
In a world designed to make us miserable, it turns out stubbornness, love, and my utter refusal to let him die first are the only things keeping us alive… and somehow still together.OR
Jude and Cardan have been kidnapped, and now they’re fighting to save each other — clinging to whatever scraps of strength they have left. -

Summary
I should have known better than to believe in calm nights in Elfhame. The crown doesn’t shield me from its cruelty — it sharpens it, carving every moment of ease into something fragile, fleeting. Here, love is a weapon, wielded with intent, and mercy a weakness that invites ruin. I mistook the fever in the air for warmth, the brush of her hand for comfort, her fleeting smile for safety. I mistook the world for something I could hold steady. And in that breath of foolishness, I almost lost the only thing worth ruling for — her, and the fragile, burning tether that binds my life to hers.
OR
Jude is fading, and Cardan nearly missed the signs.

Summary
Annabeth knew that a fatal flaw was bad.
But not this bad. Not the “your-boyfriend-might-bleed-out-in-your-arms” kind of bad.Once again, Percy had done something unbelievably stupid because of his loyalty. Gods, that boy and his heroic instincts. You’d think after saving the world twice, the universe would give them a break. Apparently not.
It was supposed to be a simple mission — one or two days at most.
Four days later, they were still lost in a maze that felt way too much like Daedalus’ old labyrinth. Of course, Leo had vanished on day three among-side with their suplies, because why would anything ever go according to plan? Now it was just her and Percy.
Well — her, Percy, and a lot of blood.
