He cradled his head in the crook of his own shoulder, deep in thought, “It’s so cool, isn’t it, how someone had to run all the way to the Farlands just to program this?”
Wifies nodded absentmindedly, internally fuming. Did he not understand the noose he held in his hand, set to break both of their necks?
He knew a way out of this tortuous trek towards the gallows, a way to cut the rope set on killing the one thing he held dear. At this point, he couldn’t even care what objections Parrot might hold. Months ago, he might’ve found his plan repulsive, but what options did he have? Watch Parrot kill himself over a fight that he should never have concerned himself over?
