Izuku repeated the exact same day six times now. In each one, he died. Either protecting Sensei or Shinsou or both, or Izuku was not fast enough to save himself.
Izuku didn't want to believe this was real. He wanted to act as if it was all just a nightmare.
He knew better.
As much as Izuku didn't know fantasy tropes, Time Loops were something he was familiar with. And going by his experience, he was stuck in one.
Or, Izuku is stuck in a time loop and every time he dies, he wakes up on the same day, in the morning.

Summary
It is time for the entire first year's annual Heroes vs. Villains competition at UA.

Izuku Midorya wasn't born deaf.
As a matter of fact, he had almost perfect hearing when he was born. He could hear the world whenever he wanted, and he never thought that it would be taken away from him.
He doesn't take things for granted now. Not since he was five, not since Kacchan took his hearing. He still remembers how it happened.
Or
Izuku Midorya lost his hearing to his childhood friend. Trauma ensues, Nezu cackles, and the world cries.

Izuku Midoriya's Quirk was...dangerous. Since the age of four he knew what true nightmares were made of. Demons were the soldiers of hell, and they made it their mission to terrify him for fun. Peeling skin, black sillouhettes, and grating screams that froze him in place where only a part of it. Their words and dark hymns followed him, crushing his body and soul.
But not as much as his mother did. Inko was prone to using her fists and venomous words to beat him down, and she was worse than the demons who followed him day and night.
"God does not shine upon you,"
The demons repeated it like a mantra, and they were all right. God hated them all, the fallen wingless angels who he damned for eternity. He loathed Izuku too, the boy who could see them. Izuku was cursed with an uncontrollable Quirk, but he tamed those demons. They were his, and his alone.
God sneered at him, and he smiled devilishly back. God had given the demons exactly what they needed...
Izuku Midoriya. A King.
