Summary
Sequel to my fic "you can see it with the lights out." Picks up literally the minute after that fic ends. Essential changes to the universe from the preceding fic: amicable Jiper breakup then Valgrace beginning onboard the Argo II, Ogygia/Calypso never happened, and the Physician's Cure was administered fast enough that Leo didn't actually fully die defeating Gaea.

Speaking of, much like Drew Tanaka, why did Percy Jackson know so much about gay sex?
(And much like Drew Tanaka, Nico did not ask).
Or, during Nico's sixteenth summer, and Will's seventeenth, their relationship changes. Percy is also there, for some reason, invested in Solangelo?

But as opening night draws close, he has been receiving some very harsh criticism from leading magazines of this business, theater critics and even some of our own sponsors due to his apparent lack of participation.’
There was no missing the derision laced in the low cadence of the producer’s voice. There was perhaps no one more invested in the play than Nico himself and even Will was loathe to admit that the accusation was quite unjust. But the business world was a brutal place.
He shifted uneasily. ‘So, what is your solution?’
Reyna laced her fingers in front of her face. ‘I want you to pretend you are dating Nico in front of the cameras.’
‘What?’Or: Will Solace and Nico di Angelo, co-stars for the upcoming Broadway sensation 'Shot In The Dark', can not stand to be in the same room together. This is as clear as day, as evident as the earth that revolves around the sun. And they have to pretend to be dating.
