Summary
Will Graham is a paranormal investigator with a rare gift - he can empathize heavily with spirits of the dead, to the extent that he has become a living gate to the other side.
Simply put he is attractive, but not much by looks. He's a rather dirty fellow, after all. There are rumors he lives alone in the woods... No wonder he always has leaves in his hair.
(Normally Hannibal Lecter would be completely averse to such a character, but vampiric and romantic standards extend far more to the mind than to the body, and what a mind it is...)

Summary
Professor William Graham of Georgetown University is travelling through Europe on behalf of Doctor Jack Crawford, who hopes to find proof of the existence of the killer who has been preying on young men and women for nearly a century. Though others would attribute the deaths to multiple killers and wild animals, Crawford insists that they are after one creature--a vampire. Will isn't sure what to believe, but with his unique gift of empathy, he's gained some insight into the mind of the killer...and what he's seen unsettles him greatly. With the help of Hannibal Lecter, a doctor in a small village near the epicentre of the attacks, Will hopes to find the responsible party.

Characters will stay within their characters.Planned to be ~45 chapters long.
Updates may vary, but I have a clear goal in my mind and ... well. :)
Also playing with the "Love at first sight" angle that Mads put out there :).
And how/what it would mean re Hannibal's canon behavior in this setting.Starting a bit slower and closer to the episodes, will probably veer off the onscreen interaction more soon. You know, 'they' do what they want.
