Summary
Background story:
Alcina and Miranda met in a pub in 1957, after Miranda was looking for the offspring of Count Cesare Dimitrescu. She saw a chance for a suitable vessel for her deceased daughter Eva in the bloodline of the noble family.
Miranda’s plans changed eventually, and she took the beautiful countess with her to the village. The two became inseparable.
She implanted her parasite—the ‘Cadou’—in her, mainly to cure her of her blood disease. Even after Alcina's “transformation”, she and Miranda couldn’t keep their hands off each other.
But after a while, Miranda’s thoughts of Eva became more present again, and her many attempts to get her daughter back broke her and Alcina apart.
In the many years they spent together, the two headstrong women couldn’t completely get away from each other, but their love was never enough for a happy ending ...- Words:

“I do not know about the Greeks,” Randvi says, stepping closer to Kassandra. She traces a finger over the defined lines of her chestplate. “But we Norse are not so bound by propriety as the Christians. Eivor and I are tied by love and promise, but that does not mean we cannot share in pleasure with someone we both desire.”
