Summary
Four years ago, Kim Seokjin walked away from the only man he ever loved, believing that letting go was the only way to save them both. But when a phone call shatters his carefully rebuilt life, he's forced to return to the place—and the person—he swore he'd never face again.
As past regrets and unresolved feelings resurface in the sterile halls of HYYH Medical Center, Seokjin must confront the love he couldn’t forget, the wounds that never healed—and Jungkook, who now carries the heavy regret of letting that love slip away.
A story of love interrupted, of second chances, and the quiet hope that sometimes… coming back is the bravest thing of all.

Summary
“It was never meant to last,” Seokjin said quietly, like he was reminding himself more than anyone else.
Jungkook nodded once. Slow. Controlled. As if he were agreeing to something that had always been true. “Right,” he said. “A contract.” He looked at Seokjin then—really looked at him—his expression carefully blank, eyes giving nothing away. “And somehow,” he added softly, “we forgot to keep it just that.”
They’d been bound by decisions made long before either of them could refuse—called obligation, but sealed by fate. A marriage neither of them wanted, until wanting became the one thing they were never supposed to have.
