And now that I have you,” His voice wavered, another tear fell down His face and into Victor’s lap, “You pretend that I shall move on… That I can stop chasing since you have finally stopped running—that I shall speak to other ears now that you finally listen.”
“I… I don’t understand,” he confessed, flabbergasted at the seriousness with which the creature spoke to him, “What are you seeking of me?”

Sintiendo que podría morir pronto, Victor trato de tenderle una trampa a su hórrida creación, no anticipando que su cuerpo fallaría antes de tiempo, causando una desventaja que la criatura tomo como su ventaja para volverlo su ¿prisionero?
Victor despertará en una cueva, sintiéndose enfermo, vulnerable y atrapado sabiendo que no escapara de ahí a menos que mate a la criatura antes de dejarse morir en la intemperie o volverse un eterno prisionero para su nuevo amo.

This is a fix-it of sorts, but also an exploration of Victor, and I write him like the messy bitch he is so buckle in for unreliable narration, repression and denial, selfish empathy(?), and mommy issues.
There WILL be The Creature x Victor, and Victor does essentially raise him through the first bit of this fic, so if that squicks you out, get out now or open your mind to ineffable and immutable connections that transcend social concepts of relation, especially when one part of the relationship is only vaguely human.
