The hyena didn't expect, however, to end up with a third-year student from the Spelldrive Club to search for him after practice, bringing him to the corner of the locker room and taking out of his pockets a pile of thaumarks, almost shoving it right into Ruggie's face. The blue eyed teen could only stare at it, confused.
"W-whoa, what is this? For me, just like that?" Ruggie says while forcing a smile on his lips and moving his hand up to grab the stack, so amazed by so much money being offered to him by a guy he barely knew at all.
Before Ruggie could reach the thaumarks on his hands, the upperclassman moved it away from his face, putting the stack back in his pocket with a malicious smile painted on his lips. "Well, it could be. But I need you to do something for me first".
Ah, great. It really sounded too good to be true. Ruggie gulped and opened his eyes wide, expecting the worst. "Tell me, then! I can do anythin'!"
The taller boy muffled a chuckle, covering his mouth with his hand. "Anything, huh?"
Ruggie is offered easy money, and the aftermath is not what he expected.

Feeling too hungry to wait for Jade and Azul, he went alone to the cafeteria, grabbed a few things and walked towards a table with some freshmen who were also from Octavinelle—but at the moment he sat down, without saying a word, they all started to get up and leave, exchanging a few glances at each other.
Oh. So everyone was actively avoiding him.
Yeah, not the first time it happens. People were already scared of him and Jade, and the way he chose to irritate and bother the other students every other day didn't help his situation either. Floyd would usually laugh about it, thinking it was funny how they would react to him eveytime he started to mention 'squeezing' the others—but oh, he didn't think it was funny this time. Not even a little bit.
With everything accumulated, it all just came crashing down.
Where Floyd reaches his breaking point, and Riddle finds him on his worst.
