Ineffa blinked, turning to the kettle to pour a cup of something, coffee by the smell of it.
“I don't have enough visual data on you, when you left I didn't have as much to go through.” Ineffa stated.
Jahoda felt her face burn at Ineffa's bluntness, “You were collecting data on me?”
“Correct.” Ineffa nodded, sliding a cup towards Jahoda, “Please drink, I added 3 sugars.”
“Hold on a sec there, let me rephrase, why are you collecting data on me?” Jahoda leaned in, eyebrows furrowed.
Ineffa blinked, “Hm, my modules make you a high priority individual, if I had to assume.”
“Why?” Jahoda continued to probe.
“I'm not quite sure of the reasoning.” Ineffa simply stated.

Jahoda was hurt on one of her missions and Ineffa is a stupid sweet robot just trying to help her. Unfortunatley, Jahoda is far too stubborn and prideful for that - despite it being all she wants.

columbina hyposelenia is spectacularly, embarrassingly, completely bad at no strings attached.
sandrone guillotin is even worse at admitting that maybe, possibly, she does not actually want no strings attached either.
six months of this. of almost. of hands reaching and pulling back. of closed doors and warm mornings and kisses that say everything neither of them has figured out how to say out loud yet. of columbina looking at her like she hung something and sandrone looking away before she has to decide what to do about it.
the deal made sense. the deal was clean. the deal did not account for tuna sandwiches remembered without asking, or 1x1 photos kept in ID holders, or being walked to practice like a pretty princess by someone with embarrassingly red ears.
something has to give eventually.

Summary

As Aino and Ineffa work together to build her a prosthetic unlike anything seen in Teyvat, Jahoda finds herself relying on Ineffa in ways that become increasingly impossible to ignore. The longer they spend together in the warmth of the workshop, sharing late nights, stolen touches, quiet conversations, and slowly unraveling tension, the more Jahoda realizes her feelings are no longer just friendly.
Meanwhile, Nefer, sees through her almost immediately. Through dry teasing, uncomfortable honesty, and reluctant confessions about her own past relationship with the Moonchanter Lauma, Nefer becomes a guide through Jahoda’s spiraling emotions, desire, and fear of vulnerability.
