Summary
Yoshiki thinks back to when he first met Hikaru. It had been Hikaru who approached him first, and his life had been changed so irreparably that he couldn't live a life without Hikaru in it. Yoshiki was never quite the same.
Then Hikaru was dead, yet time marched on. Yoshiki wanted the whole world to mourn with him. Two people died that day. Yet he soon comes to realize that there’s no world where he would know ‘Hikaru’ and not need him like it was the only way to live.
Or: Yoshiki desperately tries to convince himself of something that isn't true. He mourns someone he lost, drowning in his seemingly endless grief. He's blinded by guilt and limited by his shame, oblivious to the fact that everything he's ever wanted is right in front of him.
