Summary
After the attack on the ship, Kid was fished out of the water is chained in a room on The Red Force. His captor, Shanks has asked Kid to join his fleet to which he flatly refuses. Shanks return everyday to talk to Kid, have a place to drink, or just enjoy 'the view.' Each time he comes by he seems to get creepier.

“Is this your way of telling me you want my undivided attention?” Robert asked. He reached up to touch Flambae’s face, tracing the line of his jaw. His eyes were clouded with lust. Flambae had him.
“So needy,” Robert taunted. “We’ll have to work on your communication skills.”
“How’s this for communication: Fuck you,” Flambae replied, a heat behind his words that wasn’t anger. It rarely was. Not anymore.
“Mm, no thanks,” Robert teased. “I’d rather fuck you.”

Summary
It was not exactly guilt or remorse that allowed Robert to accept Flambae’s increasingly punitive revenge. What started as a transactional punishment - punching to relieve pent-up frustration as promised - devolved into what they had now. Some dark part of Robert that Flambae’s vitriol unlocked reveled in the mistreatment, begged for more. Made him get on his knees and take every delicious punishment, savor every sting, until Flambae was satisfied.
