Schlatt doesn’t say anything. Quackity doesn’t think he’d know what to say in his position either. He stands up, cautiously making his way over to the ram, letting the feathers of his wings brush against his sleeve.
He looks out the window, back at the communicator on the floor, and then at Schlatt. Who is making a point not to look at him.
”Schlatt, why did we break up?” His voice is just a bit louder than a whisper.
”Because,” He hums, low and almost quiet enough for Quackity to miss it, “I asked if you wanted to play superhero or stay. And you certainly didn’t choose to stay.”

Summary
The camera feels heavier in his hands as the shutter goes off.
A low-quality picture loads after a few seconds, and Quackity bursts out laughing at the sight of faint subtitles etched above his head.
Schlatt turns away, letting Quackity take the camera without any protest. He's not sure if the ISO's just fucked, or if his mind’s acting up after all the shit that's happened, but he's 90% sure it's not the camera settings making the photo so bright his eyes and chest ache the longer he stares.
