Summary
Spencer and Sadie had been best friends since they both joined the BAU. They were both very close since they were the youngest two. So, when Spencer got kidnapped by a crazy man by the name of Tobias Hankel, Sadie was in shambles. She couldn’t stop thinking about how it could have been her, how it should have been her. So, when the team found him, she ran up to him and refused to let go for at least 10 minutes. However, a few weeks later, Sadie noticed that Spencer was pulling away more and more, she noticed that he got more irritable with everyone but specifically her. He wouldn’t entertain her questions like he used to before, didn’t like being close to her anymore and Sadie swears to God that he hasn't seen him smile since he got back. Needless to say, she’s worried about him.

Summary
A fanfiction where Spencer Reid's addiction is taken seriously, because for some reason, the show didn't do that for him.
You meet Spencer while moving into your new apartment. You notice that he's attractive and sweet and smart and funny. But you also notice the intense eye bags under his eyes and the way he holds his head in his hands from the pain once you're done moving the things into your apartment.
After getting to know Spencer, you find out about his addiction, his mental illnesses, his constant nightmares, and how he's rather difficult to deal with sometimes. Still, though, you try your best to help him as efficiently as you can.

Slow Build/BurnProfilers aren't telepathic, and are apt to miss things right in front of their faces just as much as anyone else. Unfortunately.
This started out as a short ficlet about how Spencer's life would be with an eating disorder, but quickly spiraled into an 'au' wherein he really just gets fucked over by life. There are multiple storylines going on throughout, also involving other bau peeps!
