Summary
The first time Kaeya witnessed Diluc turning into a bird happened to be the very first night he spent at the Ragnvindr estate.
The boy had been bombarding him with questions, and at some point, had gotten so excited he couldn’t stop himself from growing feathers. Because that’s what people from Mondstadt did, apparently.
Kaeya’s eyes had gone comically wide, and he’d stumbled backwards fearfully in case the creature in front of him might attack or lash out.
Diluc, of course, had done so such thing, and had turned back immediately upon noticing his distress.
‘Sorry, that happens sometimes.’ he’d said sheepishly, as if that somehow explained everything.
‘I see.’
Master Crepus had sat him down the following day to inform him about some Ragnvindr family history, and that had been that – the gist of it being some members of the Ragnvindr family just randomly turned into a bird when they felt intense emotions.
Kaeya hadn’t questioned it.
He’d seen much, much stranger transformations amongst his own people, after all.

Or: Ragnvindrs turn into birds sometimes. Kaeya isn't all too fazed by it, for the most part.

Summary
Kita never admits to asking his granny to make them for Aran. Despite the fact that they were clearly made for a specific person (Aran) and despite that they fit perfectly, and despite that they were given to Aran on the exact first day that the weather report calls for temperatures to drop below freezing.
Aran plays along, because it is kind of funny, and he likes having these odd inside jokes with Kita. Besides, they really are nice gloves, and Aran knows better than to question the motivation behind them - if Kita wants him to know, he’ll tell him. In his own time.
Regardless, the gloves practically save his life during the cold winter, and he can’t help but think that they’re the nicest gift he’s ever received.
But maybe he’s biased.

Summary
"Albedo gege is happy!" Klee bursts out of nowhere. Albedo chokes on air, but Kazuha meets the incriminating, but of course entirely faulty affirmation with a laugh and a "You think so, Klee?"
"Yes! His eyes are smiling! I haven't seen him this happy before!"
"I'm not-" Kazuha raises an eyebrow at him, so Albedo tries a different approach. "That is, I am happy, but not... Who's to say I am happier than usual?"
"Klee, evidently," Kazuha says. He pauses, thoughtful, before breaking into a gentle smile. "And I as well. You've looked happier recently. You smile more easily than when we met."

Or, Kazuha's travels through Dragonspine lead him to melt the icy heart of one renowned Chief Alchemist.
