You've always struggled with emotional instability and managing your emotions, especially the most intense, negative ones. It’s no coincidence that Levi, your superior officer and your Captain, has started to call you his “most insufferable one”.
Growing up you’ve found some ways to regulate yourself, nicotine being one of those. Sex being another. With the way you are, fiery tempered and with no filters, Levi’s quickly learned that you use your physicality to autoregulate. So, for better or for worse, sometimes when you’re upset, you’ve gone to him. He’s helped you with that.
Now, though, he is the reason you’re out of your mind with anger, so out of necessity, you go for the second next, quickest and most effective solution you can think of.

When you arrived at Trost University for your PhD program, you had a plan: find the right advisor, survive the prelims, and finally start your career. You had researched the faculty, shortlisted the labs, and prepared the right questions. However, as an experimentalist, you should have known what looks right on paper does not always come out the way you expect.
In this case, the variable you failed to account for was Professor Levi Ackerman: cold, handsome, and the most interesting mind in a building full of them. By extension his lab was small, insular, with a conflicting reputation. There were safer choices for the advisor who will control your fate for the foreseeable future. But when did you care about safe anyway?
