Marc can't do it, not again, can't go through it again, thought he grew out of it, has ridden this track so many times since. Starts standing himself on the bike, wanting to get up, get off, tell Vale that he won and he'll leave, can't do it-
Marc's breath whooshes out of his chest, as he is pressed down onto the tank of the bike. Valentino boxes Marc between the Yamaha and his body, covers Marc's hands with his own over the handlebars, brackets Marc's legs, and they pass turn 13 and turn 14 and Marc doesn't taste the gravel, doesn't fall off. The skin on his hip is unmarred.

After a rainstorm ends up in Marc and Pecco stuck near the Misano circuit, they have to seek shelter in Vale's house.
