Summary
Jane and Lisbon have been sleeping together.
Not dating. Not together. Not saying what it is.
At least, that is what Lisbon keeps insisting.
It starts after a case, the way too many dangerous things do: exhaustion, grief, adrenaline with nowhere to go, Jane at Lisbon’s apartment making tea like he has always belonged in the quiet corners of her life. One night becomes another. A stolen kiss in her kitchen becomes his jacket left over her chair, her tea cabinet rearranged by hands too careful to be casual, his body in her bed, her name in his mouth, and both of them pretending they are not building something fragile in the dark.
To Jane, it has never been casual.
To Lisbon, calling it casual is the only way she knows how to survive wanting him. Jane’s grief has teeth. His love comes with ghosts, revenge, vanished rooms, and a wedding ring that still catches the light. She is terrified that if she lets herself call this love, truly call it love, she will spend every morning waiting for him to disappear.
So she makes it smaller.
Jane lets her.
Because some of her is better than none of her.
Until it is not.

Summary
“What do you think, angel? Santorini for your birthday, and Zurich to ring in the New Year?”
“I’ve been thinking about it, and what if we stayed home for my birthday?” Taggie’s fingers skim along the edge of his unshaven jaw. “I thought it might be nice, celebrating at home. Just our friends, and if Helen would let Tab and Marcus stay for a few days before…”
She trails off, peeking up through her lashes to gauge Rupert’s expression. He grins, sunlight warming her skin, and catches her hand, bringing her palm over to his lips. “Whatever you want, darling. You only turn 22 once.”
Or, Taggie celebrates her first birthday as Mrs. Campbell-Black

Summary
"A PROPER family name?! Who the bloody hell does he think he is?! And to out you like that to the media, to RITA SKEETER of all people, Harry, this is just unforgivable!!" I raged over the morning edition of The Prophet.
"We all knew he was going to find some way to get back at us, Hermione." Harry mumbled from where he had his head buried into his arms at the kitchen table.
"But Harry,” I began, but was quickly interrupted.
"Now, now Kitten, perhaps other members of this household would also like to read the morning paper? And perhaps you burning a hole into it would be counterproductive, yes?" Sirius calmly intoned with a smile, before his face changed into a dark look, "Now, let me see the article for myself." I sighed, and then handed the morning paper over.

Now on the tapestry is a gold line connecting Hermione to Draco. “ What does it mean?” I asked the room.
“That’s a soul bond” Narcissa replies. “A soul bond?” Draco repeats.
“It means you are soulmates” Andromeda answers quietly.
—
After the Battle of Hogwarts, many long kept secrets come to light, and Hermione finds out that she isn’t a Granger at all — but a Black.
