Summary
The Emerald Bar has a reputation for the place to go if you are looking for a relationship and not a one night stand. The management have a discreet and uncanny way of making things happen. The Emerald is much more than it appears.
John works part time as a helper in the bar and behind the scenes and is strictly forbidden to mix with the patrons. This hasn't been a problem so far as he rarely has contact with the customers. Not a problem till he sees the blond drummer and finds himself weaving a fantasy around him that jeopardizes his job and even his college work.Meanwhile, Fred has suggested to Roger that he does to the Emerald to get out of his pattern of one night stands and lonely nights. Roger thinks his love life is just fine, thank you very much, but is curious about what he has heard about the Emerald Bar.

Summary
Brian and Roger meet on the last train from Birmingham to London and spend two hours getting to know each other. Brian is an assistant professor at the same college where Roger is a student and the tall guitarist falls hard for the blond.
Roger and John share a flat together and are closer then Brian realizes but somehow he manages to get better acquainted with the drummer once they are in the same band together and John eventually moves back to Leicester to give the blond time to find his own life again after a tragic accident causes Roger to become mentally unstable.
Brian becomes almost obsessed with the younger student and comes close to causing a tragedy.
Can Brian be trusted with Roger's heart? Maybe, not so much. -

Summary
Brian is volunteering at the student help line at the college when he gets a mysterious caller who is afraid to give his name. This starts the soon to be assistant professor trying to find out more about the younger student and what is stopping him from saying what his problem is and what he's afraid of. But Brian has taken on a lot more than he can handle and his heart almost breaks.

Summary
Roger is living rough after an argument with his father and has a small camp set up behind Brian's home. When Brian comes home on his vacation from college he discovers his friends living conditions and decides to ask his parents if Roger can stay with him in his attic room till the younger boy's mother returns for Wales.
The two boys have a lot to talk about but their growing intimacy is difficult to discuss and Brian doesn't want to go back to London and leave his friend behind.
The story follows the boys from teenagers to much older and the number of problems Roger can get himself into from young to older is just amazing! But Brian, throughout the years is there for him to the very end.

Summary
Brian has broken up with his long time girlfriend and is trying to get back to some sort of normalcy when his cousin Michelle takes him to the Angel store and he meets someone who could just change his life forever.
But the hard reality of hiding his true feelings and pretending nothing is wrong is too much for Brian and he nearly wrecks his life over a a misunderstanding because he doesn't know if he wants the real Roger or the one he sees at David's.

Summary
Roger and John are young students and looking for a flat to share. Freddie has left a card at the student union building offering a room in the flat he shares with Brian.
All goes well, the two younger men see the room and move in and start to discuss forming a band.Roger is outgoing and John is shy but he's very protective of his boyfriend and tries to keep the blond's more fragile side in check. But, it's really difficult sometimes and Roger has a mind of his own and can get into all sorts of trouble. Oh, and he's a sleepwalker. And he sees things that aren't there
"Darlings! You're here at last!" The slightly older man ushered them inside and they followed him like two bewildered children. "Chez Mercury!" He spread his arms wide as they entered the quite spacious front room. There was another young man lounging on a chair with a guitar and both Roger and John stared at him. His hair was an abundance of brown curls over his forehead and shoulders and he barely looked up to acknowledge them but when he did he did a double take.
