That is how Baizhu stumbles on Zhongli.
At first, Zhongli is only a vaguely familiar name to him. A consultant of the director of the funeral parlour, Hu Tao. He doesn't necessarily dislike her, but she often scares Qiqi. He has grown protective of the girl without ever realizing it, and seeing as how Hu Tao often jokes about putting Qiqi in a coffin and has actually tried to kidnap her, he has no reason to interact with her outside of sheilding Qiqi from being harrassed, much less her consultant.

He pressed his back against the hard, concrete wall of the building just in time to blow out a thick grayish cloud of smoke. The nicotine took its melting course through his body, relaxing his nerves in a wave with each pull. He let his shoulders sag, just for a moment, as the chemicals worked their magic.
Though his tensions rushed back to life as the metal door just a few feet away swung open with a loud smack against the outside of the building. A man came into view. All hunched shoulders, and an average frame that screamed borderline sickly. Albert trailed him with his eyes, observant, but not obvious. Of course he knew this man. He knew everyone he worked with, as much as he needed to know them, William Birkin was a different case though. When the door swung closed behind him with a loud click, William finally noticed Albert. His brow had knitted into a confused expression as he measured out his steps to close the few feet between them under the overhang.
