Summary
Lune had always known that Sciel was going to be part of her expedition, but when a few dozen died on the first day and it turned into an intimate party of four instead, it became incredibly difficult to navigate the feelings that started cropping up again after finding Sciel alive. On top of the mission, which held utmost priority, she has to decide if this second chance could help her find love at the end of her life with the one, and only, that got away.

Lune scoffs, grinning in amusement. “Go away, Sciel. Or I’m calling the department head on you.”
Sciel snorts all of a sudden. When Lune notices, she raises an eyebrow. “What?”
“Why call a head when I’m right here? I can give you some, you know…”
Lune swats her on the arm, scanning her surroundings. “Sciel!”
Sciel giggles with the back of her fingers covering her mouth. “What? I couldn’t help it!”
“You cannot be serious.”
“Oh, but loosen up a little, love. You’ve been working nonstop for weeks! You need a break.”
“And you need to stop distracting me.”
