Sou’d described him as someone with unique features, but it's only now that Kisa understands exactly what he meant by that. His lips curl up into something that's just as sinister as it is coy, something that could be—and probably has been—easily misconstrued if not for the easy way his gaze sinks into his face beneath half-lidded eyes, conveying some degree of playfulness, though Kisa does have to wonder what exactly is funny to him about all this.

    They sit in silence, but it's something different from their staredown at the store. This is quieter. More of a rumble of thunder from far away. Not a warning, but a watch.
