Her greatest dream was to be truly loved, but that clearly wasn't something Sasuke could offer her. When she first looked into his eyes after the war, her intuition told her it wouldn't end well. His eyes lacked the spark that always accompanied a woman. He never truly seemed interested in her, but for some reason, he continued pursuing this strange relationship, as if he were trying to achieve and prove something.

Naruto couldn't fall asleep. He kept glancing out the window, as if waiting for something to happen. He had a strange premonition that he couldn't ignore, no matter how hard he tried. His mind somewhat ignored his exhaustion, focusing on the speculations swirling through his mind. The Kyuubi initially complained, urging the young boy to go to sleep, but then fell silent, seeing that his pleas and attempts at persuasion were ineffective.
