Summary
Eridan moves to Earth at the age of Roughly 8.8 sweeps. Probably gonna be more common for trolls to move offworld when they find cooler societies that Alternia doesn't feel inclined to conquer for whatever reason.
This fic features discussion of sociocultural interactions and the cultured themselves, gender (i'm sure you're shocked) and Gnosticism. Lot of political shit in the background too, but you wouldn't be reading an Eridirk fic if you didn't like that. Also, Eridan desperately wants their partner to think they're cool.
Please comment if you notice anything cool! I probably put way too much fucking symbolism in here because I'm chronically homestuck brained and liable to die
typical dirk kinnie, making the fic's bio about herself lmao. Anyways, the Dirk in this fic ain't actually a self insert, they're a someone-else insert! Which was weird, because I kind of had to meld my conception of Dirk together with that person. Never had to write Dirk like that before! Was honestly super fucking fun.

The AI have taken over the government! Whoops, it was mostly consensual. that's odd! read the story as an ambiguously gendered trans reader with gender dysphoria. The AI is also trans? You're a frazzled researcher putting the past to a contemporary, digestible format: the history of what happened during the aforementioned robot uprising, and what happened right after. You may or may not get your nervous system hacked. It would literally not be ethical for the robot to kiss you.

To where she felt she belonged. Saving the biggest fish for last, she sought to rob Vee tower, not knowing it would lead to what she feared most: Facing her sinful nature.
