Summary

I really liked this in the beginning like fr it was so cute
but from third year it’s basically been a drag Harry and Tom don’t hang out or if they do it’s super superficial just them like giving each other kisses on the cheek and forehead all the time and cuddling basically and they both have big secrets by omission which I hate or it’s just idk don’t like it like Tom smoking and not feeling guilty about it even though before he ever picked up a cigarette Harry was like DONT start smoking n he was like ofc I won’t but then he starts without hesitation for his shit debate friends and it doesn’t even feel like he’s making much progress getting them underfoot or with his heirship all lame also they’re only 13 but they simultaneously act like 50 year olds like feels weird that they can’t make out but they call each other beloved and have a joint bank account and are literally always up in each others business?? I’m annoyed like everyone’s homophobic or racist and they’re not doing anything about it just cuddling to feel better but it’s such a yawn
Also there are like threads which I though would lead to more Harry Tom time and it just doesn’t like Harry failing his first test and not telling Tom and running away you think oh Tom will totally find out and there’ll be fluff but no?? He just doesn’t instead it leads to Harry doing more secret first aid for whatever reason we’re obsessed with his secret healing club that he won’t mention to Tom?? Also is this fuckass obstacle course sabotage going to lead to anything?? Besides the racist comments? Like the scene with Tom silencing that guy wasn’t even satisfying bc it was followed up with Rosier being racist so laaaame ugh I was so invested and now I’m like tf did I read like 1300 pages for I don’t fucking know bc they won’t even be old enough to date for another two years according to Harry and I don’t want to sit through another 1000 pages of the same collar straightening hair carding bs when they don’t even talk anymore I hate Harry hanging out with Dumbledore and not telling Tom it’s so annoying I hate secrets by omission and what’s the point of the lies even ugh this sucks -
