With the only two who understand him on this god-forsaken server? It barely lasted a month— few weeks that meant too much to Mugm, too fucking much.
He cares, no matter how much he’s been reduced to a killing machine, no matter how much the gold gem matters, no matter what happens, care finds itself on Mugms doorstep no matter how many times he has to ditch it. And that’s just the problem, isn’t it? It’s fucking awful that Mugm is meant to wade through these feelings by himself.

They say, when the body is in fight-or-flight, it’ll push down anything that isn’t directly related to survival. Problems don't go away, just suppressed, as long as needed to make it out alive. And then it comes back full force and without warning when fight-or-flight ends — when the body knows it’s safe again.
That’s probably why it all comes crashing down so fast.
