    Polnareff angled his head curiously, waiting for you to expound on your unanticipated visit when you ought to have been in bed. Calming yourself and inwardly trying to ignore the nervous knots in your stomach, you took a step closer with as relaxed a smile as you could manage while feeling flustered.

     

    “Couldn’t sleep. Figured I’d see if you were up and willing to have a little company.”

    With Dio defeated and the journey home only a few hours away, you knew time was running out. You had one last chance to let Polnareff know what he meant to you and you could only hope that he might feel the same.
