He thinks maybe he prefers the M as he grows up.

Summary
A heavy hand lands on Hawkeye's shoulder, and he jumps at the sight of official green fabric at the corner of his eye. He hears the voice before he registers the face. "Having conversations with food waste on the floor."
Hawk grins so widely, it aches. "Sidney."
"Worse than that." The second voice is the one that actually surprises him. As Sam Pak drops into the bar stool on his right, he eyes Hawk with an inscrutable expression. "He struck out first too. Hasn't only lost his marbles, but broken his spirit." Sam rubs his chin and purses his lips in thought. "Can this really be Hawkeye Pierce?"
"Or his evil twin brother," Sidney pipes up from his other side, almost giving Hawk whiplash. "Eaglesnout Blunt. I knew we'd meet again someday."
~~~
During a lonely few days of R&R, Hawkeye crosses paths with two of the men who hold his highest respect. When Sidney and Sam offer him a invitation into their bed, he happily jumps at the opportunity to finally get his hands on them—but he has no idea how deeply they've seen him all along.
