“Euijoo!” both shouted in unison, panic lacing their voices.
"K! Fuma!" Euijoo gasped.
K reached him first, grabbing Euijoo’s wrist and tugging him back without a moment of hesitation, while Fuma stepped slightly in front, shoulders squared, eyes locked on Nicholas with a stunned intensity that made his breath catch.
The air around Fuma shifted— then sharpening with the unmistakable tension of power gathering. Wind coiled upward from the dirt, twisting around Fuma’s arm before solidifying into a long, pale weapon. A sword shaped from compressed air—silent and lethal, its blade shimmering as if light itself avoided it.
He leveled it directly at Nicholas.
Nicholas fights on the wrong side of history, but he does it all for Maki.
