Summary
Valriel Lavellan was an apostate mage of the Dalish Lavellan clan. She was sent as a spy to the Andrastian conclave, in which her Keeper predicted there to be a world-altering event. How right she was, when the Temple of Sacred Ashes exploded, causing a hole in the sky that connected the dreaming realm to the waking world.
Valriel was the lone survivor of the explosion and gained a power that would help her save the world from being swallowed by demons. She agreed to help the newly reborn Inquisition, though stubborn and reluctant. Known as the Herald of Andraste, she was tasked to bring the warring mages and Templars together while investigating what, or who, had opened the Breach in the first place
Cullen Rutherford was the commander of the Inquisition, a Knight-Captain who belonged to the Templar order in Kirkwall. Though he left the Order behind, he could not forget his training and his years of service , for better or for worse. Much to his dismay, he was tasked with the challenge of watching over the Herald of Andraste, a wild mage that wanted nothing to do with the organization, and especially him.

Summary
