Hermione Granger is fed up with her “job” — something she’s certain Diggory made up just to torture her — allocating magical creatures to fill assignments that read like casting calls for fairytale villains. Appropriate, since the assignments all take place in a fictional world, after all. She knows it’s completely pointless, a way to sideline her and keep her out of the way so she can’t make real change for magical creatures.
Or she thought so, at least, until Charlie Weasley storms into her office demanding to know where a dragon she allocated three weeks ago ended up, as it’s not been returned.
