Summary
Each month, on the full moon, Flins experiences a spike in desire. Perhaps it’s old Fae instincts, or a biological cycle, the Lightkeeper has long forgotten. It’s never been more than an inconvenience in the past, but that has changed. Now that The Doctor is defeated and the true Frost Moon revealed, Flins’s cycles have become overwhelming.
In his attempt to find solitude to wait out another full moon, Flins runs into Varka. The Knight instantly thinks something is wrong, and in his concern, offers shelter.
Not to be impolite, Flins agrees... Not knowing what the Frost Moon's heat will bring.

What even is there to say about being a half-breed? Kyryll was always considered an outcast by both his own kin and the humans.
Maybe that's why he agreed to such a dangerous task. To kill the source of their despair. No, to gain his freedom finally or to die from the hands of the viking's king. All the same, both paths suited him equally.
And maybe, just maybe, if Kyryll would manage to find home in the cruel rays of sunshine, that cursed life of his would finally gain meaning.
