    This work was started as a self indulgent self insert Modern Girl in Thedas story. While it still sort of is those things the characters have developed plans and plots that I never intended. I don't know what the rating will really be nor what romances will happen. I make no promise of posting schedule and I am known for hitting points of writers block but I will not abandon this story.

    At the end of the Fifth Blight, the Hero of Ferelden sacrificed herself to destroy the archdemon. Some thought both souls had been destroyed, but a soul is energy and cannot be destroyed. Rather, they were sent to the Abyss/Void. After ten years in a literal Hell, she hears a soul screaming in the Fade. A tranquil mage (Trevelyan) had found herself in the Fade and her psyche cracked. Andraste stepped in and exchanged the two heroes, taking the Tranquil mage with her and restoring Lady Elisabeta Cousland to life. Not only must she deal with having a strange mark on her hand, but having a mage's powers and the repercussions of her death and resurrection (including having spent ten years in the Void/Abyss).
